Toulouse Visit 2017

It's been a week since I've arrived in France for the Summer Holiday. I spent the first week eating, drinking, visiting the fresh market, enjoying the first few days of the Summer Sale, getting a hair cut from one of my friends, and hanging out with them!

We took AirFrance on the way to Paris, on their Boeing 777 plane that has new Business Class seats that are super comfy!

Stayed in a nice, centrally-located hotel in Toulouse

Lunched at Le Bibent while waiting for our hotel room to be ready
Second day in Toulouse was spent taking a sunny promenade in the city center, amongst the shops, window-shopping while waiting for the Sale to commence, visited the playgrounds with the little one, and enjoyed the fresh food markets.

Lunch at a friend's place -- Chicken Adobo
The first day of sale was last 28th June. I woke up very early in the morning and took my daughter along with me, while hubby was still at work on his business trip. I tried to get inside Zara, but it was crazy crowded and the people made me nauseous. I ended up at Massimo Dutti and Etam instead. I was quite satisfied with the items I've purchased.

Finally, first day of Summer Sale! :)

Got a hair cut from my friend who is a hair dresser. It was perfect timing that she was in Toulouse at the same time as I was.
I had to take this pic because the lighting inside our hotel's bathroom was insane! Hashtag nofilterneeded! :D

Hurrying to put back on my coat, it was quite chilly... but I had to pose next to this beautiful huge door of Fondation Bemberg

Happy to have dinner with friends at l'Atelier de l'écharpe

Enjoying some free drinks! :)

Our last night in Toulouse was spent at Restaurant Le L with a friend, having some bloody Magret de Canard here.

I was very happy to have spent more time than usual in Toulouse this year for our summer holiday in France in the occasion of hubby's business trip. So while he was working, my daughter and I were already on holiday and enjoyed being in our old home city with some of my friends who have not yet taken off for their own holiday themselves.

As I write this, I am spending a few days here in Aquitaine with my in-laws on a rainy weekend. But I am still enjoying the food, the wine and the shopping despite the gloomy weather.

Thanks for reading and have a good weekend! :)
